So how ridiculous is this? I run my own linux mail server... and now I can't send emails to AOL!

This is absurd. I can't send email to my #%(^& grandmother anymore. Stupid worthless AOL.

(if I was an open relay, it would be one thing - but they are rejecting me because my linux server resides on a "dynamic" IP...)
