us intelligence is pointing to the possible hand of izzat ibrahim al-duri, forner ba'athi general, as being the
mastermind behind the apparently coordinated 'resistance campaign'.

this is just too funny. why ? well, leftists have been pointing to these terrorist attacks as evidence of a legitimate
grassroots opposition. 'the mass murders and everyday mayhem are expressions of reasonable iraqi anger' and
other such nonsense.

now we see the leader is a saddam crony - how surprising - who is carrying on usual ba'ath policies from his comfy
hole of internal exile. the same murders, the same terrors, the same attempts to sow internal dissension between
shia and sunni. so cheer away, your idol now has a name and face.

Well we all know how conclusive the US Intel was prior to the Iraq Invasion. No reason to doubt it now.

BTW, I like the way you use a broad brush to paint those who criticize our involvement in Iraq as being unpatriotic to the point of being traitors.

RE:The Iraqi King of Clubs resurfaces.

This is somewhat hard to believe. That guy was sick, and weak to begin with. Most Iraqis and people actually from the region don't believe he is capable of this, in fact he was somewhat of a running joke.

BTW: remember back when the US was saying it was Saddams sons who were coordinating the resistance? Turns out they weren't coordinating jack, but rather running and hiding.

More politically expedient intelligence?

Meanwhile the coordinated multiple attacks we are seeing now have all the signatures of Al Qaeda. Suicide attackers, meticulous timing, obvious planning.

Even That traiter Olie north says its the work of

A: Former Baathe party members

but mostly

B: Al queda operatives.

Isnt it ironic that we went to Iraq to prevent it from becomming a terrorist hideway,

But it never became one until we got there.
