Do you do this when your food is too hot I find myself doing it when I am eating hot foods so yes I am guilty too.

ya but its not its yourself tryin to cool down hot food on your tongue so it doenst burn your tongue or throat.

Once I was so startled by how hot the food was that I automatically swallowed. It burned all the way down.

I saw this mentioned on the Man Show recently and my friends, my roommates, and I have been talking about it ever since.
