the internet's new "subscription" model - how many sites do you subscribe to?

Nothing's free these days, seems like every website now has a subscription service to access (anandtech, file planet, gamespot, lots more!)

how many websites/web services have you decided are worth busting out the plastic for?

I've only paid for Anandtech personally...

I have only subscribed to namezero and anandtech. It's sort of sad what the internet is changing to, but everything does cost money.

None, I'm boycotting regisering for stuff as long as I can. I'll put up with less for awhile.

Just Anandtech.

I subscribed to IGN for 3 months because they were giving away a free magazine when you paid for 3 months of IGN Insider.

Tough to argue with that.

How many magazines are free?
How many don't have any advertising?

Eventually, if we want to dance we're going to have to pay the Piper.

Just anandtech. I'm going to be grabbing a 12 month subscription as soon as my 3 month runs out

AT Forums, that's it....I hate it when sites charge for ALL their content. 90% of the sites I visit, I only visit once a year or so, so why on earth would I pay for a subscription? Or worse yet are the sites that charge like $2.50/article. I think AT has the best model yet, they give the same content to freebies as subscribers, but give extra 'features' to subscribers. It gives ya enough to get hooked & then paying the small fee seems like nothing (AT Hot Deals has saved me my subscription fee many times over).
