not in CS anyway it has pixel limit at like 10K in any direction, CS may have chainged that

there ae other image ediors that will open bigger ones but im guessing that takes some custom software

are you sure? i have photoshop7.0 and i can open the nebula tiff, which is 18k by 18k, just fine
 
I actually have that image of the earth printed in color laser. It's on a ton of pages...I think I did 6x4 to make 24 pages but that might just be for half of it. I'd check but it's back at home in a folder.
