If the question was asked in a survey, I'm sure we would garner an assorted variety of responses. For me it really has to do with the wide spread of information readily available at the click of a mouse. Boring ? well, right now everything is moving so fast and technologies and standards are rolling out at an alarming rate, so I'm sure the day when the Internet will be a one stop source for entertainment, research, etc etc.
What's prominent now is the abundance of srouces we have. i.e the pimple thread where someone had mentioned one consultation with the dermatologist is $140! with the internet you could ask the opinions of others and in some cases even get professional diagnosis online from qualified professionals on which coarse of action to take, the reguarlity of this medium will eventually increase to a level of acceptable norm.
So who else here uses the Internet to do research, survey, etc that affects their personal life.. meaning something with substance rather than chatting, looking at xxx
and stuff.
