PresentMon is interesting, but for my needs, not certain it is the best choice. I am so used to afterburner. It is neat how the fps numbers differ from each other. I'll take a screenshot if you want Igor. Not certain how I should configure it from the defaults either.

The new drivers didn't do anything significant for AC: Origins or Watch Dogs 2 in DX11. Switching to Vulcan in Origins doubles the fps from the 40s to the high 80s low 90s.

In WD2 the A750 is still being poorly utilized at 1080. Often only in the 60s and 70s percentage usage. Meanwhile fps can dip to as low as the 30s. I am starting to think the HD texture pack is the problem. While the used vram says it's under 8GB the allocated goes over 8GB. That is one of those bugs with AB and ARC. Reporting use of more vram than the cards have. I have a blend of mid and high settings, even trying FXAA and low shadows to get the frames up. But as soon as I get outside with a fair amount of draw distance, the fps tanks.

Regardless overall intel is showing excellent progress.

Quick question. I have a Zen 3 5600. I have a B450-F Rog Strix with resizable bar. Do the ARC cards work on B450 motherboards?

It'll work great. I am using the 5600 with it at the moment. PCIe 3.0 shouldn't make any noticeable impact.

It's a question that has no answer on the web. I see people trying to run ARC cards with Zen 2 CPU's. I know you need Zen 3 for ARC cards to run correctly.
If you are serious about buying ARC. I will throw it in my 5700G with a ASRock B450i Fatal1ty Gaming ITX AC and test it so you have peace of mind.

As of now I’m in for Battlemage next year. Goal is a 2k monitor around end of year, then video card upgrade.

Go for it. Let me know what happens. I am serious about Arc. I need some Sparkle in my system.
Up and running.

It didn't play nice with the APU Vega graphics the way Nvidia does. So I disabled it in the UEFI.

Running smooth and scores in 3DMark are hitting the averages, right where they should be.

To my surprise it edged out my 5800X3D RX 6800 combo in the DX ray tracing features test - https://www.3dmark.com/compare/dxr/245353/dxr/238128#

Timespy is scoring correctly too - https://www.3dmark.com/spy/41019519

Does pretty well in Port Royal - https://www.3dmark.com/compare/pr/2507681/pr/2445496

I ordered the Sparkle dual fan A750. It will be up and running on Thursday. I was thinking about the 3 fan version but the card is long and I want to be able to use the card in smaller cases. It's going to be a place holder card for up to 2 years.

If my calculations are correct. The best case scenario with optimized drivers by Intel, would be 3060ti performance. I think by the beginning of 2024, Intel should have a pretty good handle on the drivers. It may take until June of 2024 for Intel to get everything dialed in.

Once Intel gets their drivers right. It will be pretty seamless transition going to the 2nd generation Battlemadge GPU for Intel.

ARC A750 already beats the 3060ti in 3Dmark tests. Which shows the GPU's is slightly more powerful than the 3060ti. It's better than the 4060, all that ARC needs is continued driver improvement. A lot of people base a GPU solely on gaming performance without looking at the raw power of the GPU.

I will have to change the name of the thread to the ARC blog soon. As I ordered the $99.99 ASRock A380. They are including AC:Mirage and Nightingale. Too good a deal to pass up.
I wonder if AC has XeSS support and if A750 could match 3060 Ti in it.

Do you get the keys in email or by redeeming them from the Intel site? Steam keys?
I am not certain. I only ordered right before posting. No instructions have been provided yet. I presume they will either be included with the card, or after a certain time has elapsed? I will let you know when I do.

I will be shocked if it doesn't include XeSS seeing as it's a bundled game. Matching the 3060ti would be super impressive. Perhaps more RX7600 4060 like?

Well, it's definitely not impossible.
