Seems that my Audigy 2 Value has the infamous screech of death... Playing BF2 after some time make the soundcard start screaching from each speaker and then cause the system crash. I thought I fixed it by reinstalling the drivers, but no.

Any ideas how I can get rid of the problem? It is really pissing me off to have to cold boot my PC after playing on it for a bit.

Thanks.

Yeah, i think theres a massive issue with the original Audigy 2/Audigy 2 value and nForce4 boards or AMD 64bit processors. I had to take mine out... I'm using onboard now... :(

Don't overclock anything and update your BIOS and chipset drivers.

This is probably going to make me sound like a pecker, but I have an Audigy 1 and I never get any of the problems folks have with the 2 or the 4.

Is it possible that they just arent very good cards?
