"The Illusionist"

I liked it, but the twist was rather elementary, imo. Solid cast, except for Jessica Biel. I'm sorry, but she can't act.

I really didn't care much for it. Would've been nicer if the illusions were really being performed instead of using CGI animation.

Predictable, but pretty good. Love the era sets, costumes and all.
But, why turn down coffee in Vienna? I would never do that.

I thought it was pretty weak....

I thought it was The Prestige when I rented it, oops 🙂

haha. I did that, too. I knew there were two films about magic out at the same time, but I thought that "The Illusionist" was the one I had wanted to see. I was wrong. It wasn't good.

The Prestige is out now, isn't it?

Thought it was ok. Good enough to hold my interest, not good enough for me to bother wasting a ~$0.10 blank DVD on.

Will have to watch The Prestige next.

The Prestige was worlds better.

Was not "worlds" better by any stretch of the imagination, but I saw them both this week and thought The Prestige was the better film, not by much though.

I thought the Illusionist was awesome! Solid acting, beautiful atmosphere, great story w/ a few twists.

I haven't checked out the Prestige yet but will be doing so asap.

the movie's great except jessice biel's performance
Yeah, but she's gorgeous so who notices her performance? 😛

not that i won't bang her, it's just that her ass is so ghetto.

Good lord. You could bounce Quarters off that fine ass. I'd bang that thing like a screen door in a hurricane...

I've never been able to notice her acting. Too busy staring at her @ss etc.
