The ICE Poll: Cube or Crushed?

I hate crushed ice. Ice cubes are seprior in every way. They have a smaller surface area to volume ratio, so they melt much more slowly and thus last longer. They do a better job of cooling the drink and most importantly, they don't make your drink taste watered down after one minute.



So, how do you like your ice?

Depends on the drink. Most of the time cubes in juices and sodas. Alcoholic is crushed all the way though (assuming I want ice in it)

I like crushed because it doesn't do that really annoying thing cubes do where they float in front of your mouth while you're trying to drink and so they preven the drink from flowing into your mouth....and because I tend to like things wattered down so the quick-melting crushed ice suits me well. I like the way it's so cold and frosty and slushy
