Just got back. Plenty of lines there, so only had to wait a couple of minutes to get ID checked and get my ballot. Took me longer to fill in all the little circles than anything else.

It was in a gymnasium, so everything was spread out and we could maintain good distancing. They were good, too, about wiping down the privacy desks/booths every time someone finished their ballot.

I did last week. There was only one other lady ahead of me. In and out took 15 minutes.

I'm in CA, where the POTUS election is a slam dunk for Biden/Harris. Harris was born in my congressional district, BTW. Her parents met as graduate students at the UC Berkeley campus, where I was enrolled at the time as an undergraduate in 1970.

I dropped my ballot in the mail one week ago and got 2 robo calls from the state election commission. First saying that my ballot was received and being forwarded for processing, the second saying it was accepted and would be accepted. Every registered voter in CA got a mail in ballot mailed to them. Got mine first week in October.

Did anyone actually have Kanye West on their ballot? Just curious how the Birthday party ticket is doing this year.

Voted this morning.
Small precint in a small town. Took me well over one hour, I had never seen such turnout here.
On the down side, lots of trumpsters, they dominate here.

On the upside, a lot of young people voting.
This is a huge upside, unexpected pleasant surprise.

If we can give the cheeto credit for something, we can say that he really energized people to go out and vote.

Unfortunately that's like giving credit to an arsonist for people starting to care more about smoke detectors and fire escapes.

What state are you in?

My son and I went earlier today around 10:30 and there were probably around 10-15 people there. We walked right in got our ballots and then voted. I didn't track it but it probably took less than 15 minutes total. This was in a town with a population of around 13K located in Illinois.

This was my oldest sons first time voting that is why I went with him. He turned 18 back in June so I thought it was important for him to go with me to see how it's done and also exercise his right to vote.

Michigan.
NW Oakland country.
County as a whole is democrat, but the more northern areas are semi-rural, so trumpsters are plenty here

At about 6:45am there were a lot of cars at my voting place but i didn't go till after work. There were still a lot of cars in the lot & a fairly long line of people when i got there. Probably took me half an hour total, so not bad at all & it was a nice day weather wise to so standing in line outside was nice.
That's the most people i've ever seen when i've gone to vote.

Pennsylvania, he wasn't on mine. Dem, Rep & Libertarian was all.

Cast my vote in my small City.
Zero problems, near zero delays. Overall took maybe 5 minutes but that was mainly due to waiting for a pen to be cleaned and the slightly different checkout process, basically one door in and a different door out. Overall a felt pretty normal.

My polls didn't wash the pens between voters which is bad practice even without COVID. They had one bottle of hand sanitizer in the room so I used that after voting. It was quite cathartic.

To be clear “wash” in this context was a worker wiping a bunch of pens down with a clorox wipe. I appreciate the effort but it was a pretty basic thing.
Pens go into a bucket on the way out, when bucket gets enough pens worker wipes them down.

Mailed mine in like 3 weeks ago. Checked and it said it was counted about a week or so later. Straight Dem other than the like 50 fucking judges which I think I left blank as I didn't have the time to be able to look all of them up to see if they've been shitty or not (and mostly I'd just find local shit news that practically borders on propaganda).

Think I voted yes on recreational weed, and yes on establishing a healthcare district, and I don't remember what I chose on giving some gas company access (think it was basically letting them put in natural gas lines in exchange for getting sole provider). Think I voted yes on some education tax as well (guess I'm not into protecting small businesses from their like $31 a year).

I chose Republican for the primary so I didn't get any of the "Iranian" threats. But plenty enough terrible right wingers down here, although from what I've gathered there's quite a good amount of others (and I've seen some "Republicans for Biden" signs) that might make Arizona surprising. I helped kick McSally out last time, and hopefully at least will help Kelly boot her ass out this one.

Voted today in WV. I was 3rd in line and got right in. They checked my voter registration and it matched what they had in their book that I had to sign. Everyone was wearing a mask which was a good thing considering the poll workers ages and conditions. Voted straight D but my vote isn't going to count. My voice will be heard.

My sister told me last week that they like Trump because he is for abortion. Tonight she told me that Biden is going to cut HUD, SNAP and all the social programs o_O and that I'm the only Democrat she knows. So this is what it's like to be surrounded by stupid. Good thing she doesn't vote...

I voted and it took perhaps 10 minutes in my western NY county. Easy as pie.

Optionally, I voted Democrat on the national level but went with Rep on most state offices as we have our own cancer, Cuomo, to resist.

About 15 minutes for me. Had to wait behind 4 people.

Got there an hour after the polls opened. Took me another hour to finish voting. Newnan, GA.

Heard people coughing ahead of and behind me but they were far enough away that I was only concerned with the people who were forced to be closer... until I got inside and the line snaked back on itself over and over (winding) putting me very close to a guy who kept coughing directly into his hand. Someone else behind me sounded REALLY sick with juicy, flemmy, coughs that couldn't just be irritation, dry air, smoker's cough, etc.

Only person I heard discussing who they were voting for was also voting for Joe.

Yesterday around 2 p.m. Went in, shown my ID, signed my name in the log book, went into the booth, voted. Done. No line and no waiting at all. I have voted many times and never took over 5-10 minutes total.

The whole process took only a few minutes. I guess that is one good thing by living in a medium size (less than 100K people) area. I can't imagine if I have to wait for hours and hours like so many folks had done.

I just voted today. First day of early voting. Walked into my early voting location of choice (South DeKalb Mall) and there were about 40 people standing in line in front of me. It was about 4:15pm.

Took the election workers 11 minutes to get the people in front of me signed in. Took them about a minute to get me signed in and handed me my Dominion voter card.

I spent about 3 minutes in the booth quadruple-checking my ballot to make sure I didn't fuck up and vote for any fascists. I was successful.

All-in-all it took me about 15 minutes to vote today. They had their shit together and processed everyone through very quickly.

I'm not sure you should have done that.

Although it's rather unclear whether that's a marked ballot or not, since it's just a screen and you could have changed your choices.

The lower left icon is "back to ballot".
Which would indicate the ballot choice can be changed. I "think" this would let him off the hook.

Don't know why this is such an issue in so many states. As I understand it, the whole idea of secret ballots is so one could keep their "own" decision to themselves.

If someone wants to publicize their own ballot, it should be no issue.
