This movie was fantastic. I saw it on an ultra screen and oh crap, that was an experience. Never has CGI been implemented into a real world so well. Such with such grace and raw power (the physics were convincing unlike spiderman). the battle scenes are the best superhero battle scenes EVER created. Jennifer Connelly is hot and does a good job. Freakin' Nick Nolte looks like and plays a perfect psycho. geez, this movie blew me away.

um, this would be a problem with you local theater chain. the Loews i went to had a perfect, scratch free print, and the dark scenes were as visible as the filmmakers wanted it to look.

I think that the scenes were a little dark also. If the filmmakers wanted it that dark then they messed up.

It was dark for two reasons.
1) it was night
2) and more importantly, because we were to be seeing what connelly was seeing and experiencing for the first time. a horrible, nightmarish experience.

Going into the film I thought I would be disappointed, but I wasn?t I was amazed with Ang Lee?s work once again. The use of the comic like scene changes and use of multiple shots at once worked very well with the film. This film was display of the tragedy that happened to the young Bruce banner. The film was never meant to be an action film. If you want that you?ll have to wait till T3 comes out.

I guess being one with the character doesn't appeal to me.

Yes, the trailer made it look so good too

I downloaded it and watched most of it last night....errrr.... I mean, I watched it at the theater 😉 ...... and it sucks severely, in every way. The CGI graphics make it look like roger rabbit, the story line is convoluted, and the acting just plain sucks. Yech. I'll give it a 3 out of 10.

I was going to say that we must have watched different movies, as the CGI was really good, but you answered that one for me. You did watch a different movie than me.

Didn't you think for a minute that the CGI might not be done in the pirated version you downloaded, especially since the one you downloaded has been circulating since before the print hit theaters? And then you have the balls to knock a movie that you didn't pay for? Gimme a break, your opinion is void. Go see the real movie.

man im shocked as many of you are saying this wasnt that good of a movie. i thought they totally pulled it off. the cgi graphics were on par with the movie spiderman, not like matrix II where for 15 minute intervals it seems like your watching a video game. the begining did drag on a bit and i didnt really get the last fight scene but other than that it was a great movie. two thumbs up for sure!

yeah the physics were really good, especially when he jumped on the F-14 (or whatever)

Negative. It was an F-22, and it was unrealistic as teh F-22 lacks the thrust to climb vertically period for any lengthy period of time, let alone escape the atmosphere, let alone climb vertically with a multi-hundred pound on the tail.

That being said, it's a comic movie. It doesn't have to be realistic.

And, for those CGI knockers: Did you notice that those Commanche 'copters were CGI? How long did it take? Most of the people in the theater I was in never noticed. That's damn good CGI!
