Technically this isn't a hot deal in itself but it just ads sweetness to the hot deal found here Sears HP Thread

I just picked me up 2 spindles of the 16X 700 MB HPs at Sears and came home and dropped one in my new 40X Lite-on burner and was amazed to see that it actually burned at the 40X speed.

I have some PNY and Sony 16Xs that will only burn at 24x in the burner.

These are some great CDRs!!!!

Go pick some up

(sorry if this was inappropriate to post but I wanted to let everyone know how great a deal these CDRs are)

Thanks for sharing. We have a ~~~~ Brag & Moan ~~~ thread, or you could just do a favor for everyone who would be interested, and post it in the relevant thread.

Wow. Thanks for starting a new thread about this! Maybe I should have started a new thread and gave a link to your thread and said this. That way, more people will see what I have to say!

Come on, use common sense here. Help clean up the boards. Do your part.

I dunno XZeroII, I think it's pretty funny. He's got 378 posts under his belt, so we all know that he knows how to hit the reply button.

I have some 8x cdrs that burn at 24x. Sure they can be read in the burner and most good cdrom drives, but some cdrom drives will not be able to read them when the cdrs are burned past the rated limit.
