the houston chronicle's computer guy needs to be fired

he's been printing nothing but crap for as long as i can remember (his suggestion for an ultimate gaming box back in the day was a virge/dx 3d decelerator when you could get a voodoo graphics based card) he has a weekly column that exposes how little he actually knows about computers (a couple weeks ago it was how he didn't have a pci express power jack on his power supply so he had to run around town and eventually bought a crappy power supply from microcenter). today he is writing about the 'dual core' athlon fx-57, which as we all know is single core.

Well, I just read his article from August 16th, in the first few sentences he mentioned ATI's headquarters in Montreal, although according to their site:

"headquarters in Markham, Ontario"


So yeah, he's not the best at doing any kind of research. He wrote an entire article on TV tuners without talking about Hauppauge at all. Almost like he's a corporate shill for ATI, but doesn't know dick about them.
