Earlier today when I was at work I had to use one of the community desktops that our office has as mine was being upgraded by IT. Not acting like a T-Rex as people were around. Anyways, I was waiting to hear back from a co-worker that I had sent an e-mail to and figured I'd come lurk the bright and shiny world of ATOT. I had never used this computer before. As I go to type in the address, forums.anandtech.com showed up on the history that drops down from the browser.

:Q

There weren't any threads that showed up, just the site. I know everyone in my office and the part that's weird is none of them (beside IT) know anything about computers. They nearly crapped their pants when I took video and put it into a power point presentation. No more ATOT at work for fear of my co-worker/you calling me out...:(

I don't think anyone here really uses the site, we just noticed it in your history and wanted to see what the site looks like.

I only logged in once at work but that was on a personal laptop off a wireless signal from a neighboring Starbucks. Don't think it was because of the server, we only store histories for 5 days and I hadn't browsed at work this week or the weekend.

I know at least two of my coworkers are ATers; we have an internal phone tool that allows users to create "communities". I threw the Anandtech logo up there and periodically check to see if anybody joined the community. I've never sought out the two people who joined; should I swing by their desks sometime and prank them AT style? :p

Switch their mouse button config. That's one of my favorites.

Yeah, but that would be weird, some coworker you've never met screwing with your settings. I was thinking more along the lines of leaving a spider with a Syringer label on their desk or something... ;)

Leave them an alternator sized piece of bulk beef on their desks.

Oh good god, I would be so fired but it would almost be worth it...

If I knew they were regular OTers who would definitely get the joke, I almost would do this. However I only know their real names, not their SNs.
