The Hobbit to be released in 2006?

Anyone else hear about this? I have the trailer and it looks pretty sweet. Anyone care to host it? Just wondered if anyone else has heard of this or if the trailer I got is a fake

i was just thinking they should make a live action one. make it ~3 hours. would be sweet

EDIT: teh animated version that exists is good tho. a buncg is left out. shoudl be redone in some form

Actually, I read an interview with Peter Jackson where he said he had no plans involving The Hobbit right now, but if it ever were made, he would expect to be the director.

The Hobit is maybe even doable without any story changes such as lotR required.

The dragons in the trailer look quite nice! but thats only a 15 second preview of them
