methinks they lost the rights to broadcast BoB, which they used to present in its entirety every Memorial Day.
By the way, you can watch BoB on SPIKE TV (WTF?) today, if you wish.
and yeah, I've long since written off the History channel, anyway. They officially joined the ranks of the Discovery Channel and AMC in terms of worthless, non-representative crap productions. Soon to join: Food Network (rise of Rachel Ray, Sandra Lee and their ilk, open and publicized rejections of real chefs, real educational cooking, and open acceptance of budget-style, non-gourmet methods as
primary content.)
Anyhoo, don't mean to bitch about worthless TV, today. lol.
I currently have a 5 lb. hunk of pork smoking, case of beers chilling, people coming over later today to honor our brave soldiers that made the ultimate sacrifice such that I we could enjoy our smoked meats and beer.
I also queued up about 10 military documentaries in Netflix instant--just watched the 2008 PBS Medal of Honor recipient documentary--13 MoH stories.
awesome.
Tibor Rubin. This guy's life, added to his MoH citation--simply amazing:
