I had no clue they were even making a sequel, then yesterday I saw a preview for a movie and was like "holy crap wtf is this?" then at the end it was The Hills Have Eyes 2 and it opens March 23rd.

I'm definitely going to see this movie. I really enjoyed the first one. It is one of the very few movies that has some scenes that actually disturbed me. I am really looking forward to this one :thumbsup:

My friend said the first film was one of the worst he's ever seen. Both he and his girlfriend fell asleep in the cinema.

Edit: I'm referring to the 2006 remake.

No I haven't. Usually when I see the original versions of the remakes, they just can't hold their own IMO. They just seem so dated.

This has happened for Dawn of the Dead and Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I saw the originals after I saw the remakes, and they just were not even remotely scary and were pretty boring.

Why would anybody want to see this? You do realize that sequals of horror movies ALWAYS suck do you not? Especially when the first one isn't even good, you know the second one will be worse. I guess its people like you that make hollywood think they can churn these out since obviously there are people somewhere watching them. I cant wait for 2009 when Saw 10 comes out

I thought the remake was pretty decent.

The remake was decent... haven't seen the original, but I hear it's much better (as most are). Don't know about pt 2 though. Seems that in the horror genre they always get worse.

Now, "Dead Silence" is a movie that is right up my alley. I love Lion Gate!
