The high FSB club - is your hardware still going strong?

OK, grabbed a cheap second hand locked 1500 XP and it?s been a bargain! J

Slapped it in and running on a 150 FSB at default (1.75) voltage, with Crucial 2100 RAM set at default 2.5V. That?s 1.33@1.50 hassle free. This chip will probably do 1600+ before it max?s out. Kind if reminds me of those Duron 600?s that would do 900+.

It?s been the easiest oc every! Temps are all fine.

How many of you have been running high FSB without issues for long periods of time? Just need reassuring it?s safe(ish) 🙂

Share you experiences - good and bad. 🙂

I've been at 149MHz FSB/Mem for quite a while now (Nearly 2 years). My memory timings are 2-6-2-2-1T with 4Way interleaving. My voltages are 1.775v for the CPU and 2.7v for the memory. My CPU is a 1GHz@1.266GHz. I usually overclock my hardware for 2 years or so. Then, when I upgrade, I pass it down to my family members and set it to normal clockspeed. Overclocking rules!

I'm running at 160mhz for a while now & it's running great.🙂

Of course I have an Agp/Pci lock on my intel P4 board.😉

Got an 1600+ That runs at 165FSB.

Haven't had any problems with PCI cards (Radeon 8500, SB Live, Netgear NIC, Adaptec 29160)
