I'm stress testing a desktop system downstairs that has no wireless adapter available, and I don't feel like dragging it upstairs to hook it to the router.

Why the hell did I bother downloading a 170mb installation file to my laptop then move it over to the desktop only to be confronted with a "no internet connection detected" error message?

What's the latest stand-alone driver I can download that doesn't require an internet connection? GTX 650

EDIT: See below for solution

It is for Geforce experience, don't install it.

It's a bug with the latest driver installer IIRC, I guess it affects the WHQL. I remember reading about it but can't remember which version specifically - There was a workaround posted on the nvidia forum, but I can't remember what it is. This shouldn't be an issue with the next release.

Did you try the beta release? 322.41?

I went with 320.49 WHQL rather than any beta versions, but I'll try deleting the GFExperience/.NET folders and see what happens. Thanks.

EDIT: Yeah, deleting those two folders allowed the installer to continue without any issues. Stupid.

Whatever happened to being able to download individual drivers as needed? Give us an option for a bare graphics driver and we can add GFExp, 3DVision, HD Audio, and PhysX as needed. It would save them bandwidth, too, but whatevs.
