I dont know if thats the hardest game in existance, but its pretty damn close.

There were a crapload of unpopular NES games that had crummy control and rotten game mechanics. Many of them were practically impossible simply because of poor design and minimal play testing back in those days.

Though just about any rotten title I can think of has been beaten by SOMEBODY, somewhere, who had no life and just kept grinding away until they got it.

That second video looked cool too, until I realized that the guy who did it probably has no life at all. Then it was sad.

I think I'd rather go for a drive up in the mountains, or chase women in bars, or something that resembles a life.

I know some people did it EASILY, I'm aware of that, but for ME, the SNES version of Jurassic Park was insanely tough. I DID beat it only recently (well, last year during the summer). Then I realized how many mistakes I made back then. But with that said I can't think of another frustrating game like it.

Maybe I could add Aliens 3, again on the SNES. I remember having a hard time beating that one, but I did beat it eventually. I'd have to go by platform rather than naming one single "most difficult" game though. It's too tough just choosing one.

Batman was definitely tough. Battletoads... oh man, that game almost made me perform seppuku. Never could get past the damn bike level. Toward the end, the barriers are so close together and you can't blink.
