They just thought this would never happen.
They believed Trump.
They believed Trump would have their backs.
They believed Trump would pardon them.
Funny, the things some people believe.

Funny, the things some people believe.
They still do... except for the pardon part.

Proud Boys member Joshua Pruitt who pled guilty in June gets sentenced to 55 months for his participation.

Before being sentenced he said he still believed the 2020 election was stolen but admitted he broke the law.

Facts just don't matter to some.

Might belong in a separate thread, but the traitorous former President is now peddling pardons for insurrectionists. Of course, he does not have the power to do this, but he’s hoping to instill in others the belief that he *could* have this power.

He’s also promising to help some insurrectionists with their legal fees/restitution, but he has a tendency to not follow through on his promises to pay.

10 year sentence for a former LEO. Longest sentence handed down so far. Good imo...of any of the insurrectionists, cops/former cops know better. He was (at least one of) the one attacking cops with a flagpole.

Should have been double the time; LEO clearly should have known better.

#902 is interesting, aside from the fact she is the 70th Texan arrested of J6.

She is a lawyer for the Oath Keepers", and is also charged with destroying and hiding potential evidence to obstruct the criminal investigation into the Capitol attack

Couy Griffin was convicted earlier this year for trespassing on Jan 6 and now a judge has removed him from his position as a county commissioner. This was the result of a lawsuit asking for his removal on the grounds that he violated the 14th amendment by taking part in an "insurrection" against the government. Part of the ruling is that he is barred from holding any state or federal elected position in the future,

"This is the first time a judge has formally ruled that the events of January 6 were an 'insurrection.' "

I hope it's not the last.
