Know the Dems talking points in investigate the investigators committee. Wonder how much naming and shaming Repugicans can take?

Really, not that complicated. In the Repugnicans committee hearings investigating the Jan 6 committee, the Dems going to be throwing all these emails back at Gym Jordan and other members on the committee
Perhaps not complicated, but also not proper English. I also thought it might be a joke, so I was just looking to clarify. ;)

CNN: Jury finds Doug Jensen guilty of all seven charges
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Doug Jensen, one of the most recognizable faces at the front of the crowd that stormed the US Capitol on January 6th, 2021 has been found guilty of all seven charges against him at a trial in Washington, DC. The verdict was returned around 4:45 pm Central on Friday after hours of deliberation. He will be sentenced at a later date. He remains in federal custody in Washington, D.C.

Today he was sentenced to five years plus 36 months of supervised release after he serves his time and $2,000 in restitution for damage to the Capitol. He was a QAnon believer. 'nuff said.

This is what all the traitors say after they’re caught and held accountable.
After nearly two years behind bars, Davis wrote, Jensen has moved on from his QAnon beliefs and Trump’s false claims of election fraud. “He has had more than enough time to dwell upon his actions,” his attorney wrote. “He wants to return to his normal life, raise his children, and be with his wife.”

Unfortunately not all of them. Some, apparently, just double down on stupid.

Edward Kelley has already been charged with assaulting an officer during the Jan 6 riot. Now he and a buddy Austin Carter have been charged with plotting to kill 37 law enforcement members. An ambitious plot, indeed.

Some, but not all of them were involved n Kelley's arrest. "Kelley not only discussed attacking law enforcement agents with Carter and an unnamed acquaintance, but also planned to attack the FBI’s Knoxville, Tennessee Field Office."

Kelley said in a recorded call “You guys are taking them out at their office. What you and [Carter] need to do is recruit as many as you can…and you’re going to attack their office.”

We'll see what happens with these 2.

I've never understood these idiots who plot to kill cops, prosecutors, judges etc. involved in their cases. Even if successful, will not prevent prosecution.

Those two are going down for a long time. Longer than Kelley's sentence over 1/6.

From your mouth to the prosecutor's, jury's and judge's ears.

The case looks solid to me. It wasn't a sting operation, so there can't be an entrapment defense. It's based on recordings of conversations, which recordings were made by an "acquaintence" of the defendants, a person they thought was part of their plot but who decided to go to the FBI instead.

And... poor Doug Jensen will be a full five years older, his wife dating a new man, his humiliated kids denying they know daddy, and poor Doug unable to get a job unless Trump hires him.
Prison Doug? For FIVE YEARS....

All the while Donald Trump runs free, runs for president, travels the country holding more insurrection instigating rallies, and... cons even more poor bastards into destroying their lives.

from the blue state of MA as well. We have our MAGA nutters here too

- As a Californian, blue state conservatives are either wolves in sheep's clothing (they are outwardly liberal but really very conservative about their little communities), remarkably moderate (usually just don't tax me bros, often the the fake liberal group but honest about who they actually are "fiscal conservatives") or completely fucking over the moon pant-shittingly nutter-butter crazy.

There is no spectrum here.

Basically most people willing to outwardly identify as conservative in such politically fatalistic scenarios tend to be the hardest core of the the hard core.

Got another one...

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Federal agents took a participant in the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol into custody for his alleged role in the insurrection after an hourslong standoff Thursday, authorities said.

Eric Christie, 56, was arrested in the Sherman Oaks neighborhood of the San Fernando Valley, according to Laura Eimiller, an FBI spokesperson.

He initially refused to comply with federal agents’ orders but surrendered without incident after three hours of negotiations, Eimiller said. She would not comment on whether he was armed during the standoff.

Video and photographs from the insurrection, discovered by online sleuths, show Christie at the Capitol last year wrapped in a rainbow flag with a hammer attached to his belt, federal court documents state.

A video captured Christie yelling “this is our Capitol” into a bullhorn while the crowd rushes into the Capitol as police attempted to keep them back, according to court documents filed in connection with his California arrest.

You can run, but you cannot hide.

I'm sure they'll all receive Dishonorable Discharges now too, as is warranted IMO.
