He fell asleep in a meeting last week too, and he was sitting next to the region director.

Not sure if I should wake him up or what...

If he's snoring, go ahead and wake him up. Either way, you can't/won't save him from his stupidity long term.

1. go to his cube
2. pick up telephone handset
3. dial your boss
4. wait for boss to answer
5. press "speakerphone" button
6. hang up handset
7. leave cube

As much as I like blackdogdeek's idea, I think you should politely wake him or let him sleep.. there could be a lot if **** in his life outside work that is making him tired.

I use to work at a place that had quad corner like cubicles without the long side walls. There was a guy that sat near the entrance to the development area. He'd fall asleep just about every day after lunch. He couldn't even try to hide it since everyone could see him anyway. He eventually got fired after the 3rd time he was caught by the vice president.

Yeah this guy is a dev too. Anyway he apparently is awake now. I hear him stirring.
