thanx in advance....

GTX 295 is fast but it runs hot and gets loud - particularly in crysis or if you turn vsync off in any game. I replaced the thermal paste on mine which dropped load temps 10c, so the loudness is bearable now. In Crysis Warhead, 1920x1200 very high with no aa I average about 50 fps with min frames about 30 - it runs really well and looks amazing. That's with a q9550 @ 4.25 ghz. If you are alright with opening the card and replacing the TIM I totally recommend doing so.

Replace GTX 295 TIM

The tricky part is that the internal sli cable is barely long enough so when you are closing the card its difficult to connect the cable and then fold the card together like a sandwich without tugging at the cable and dislodging it. I found that bending the backplate out of the way while you do this is the only way, and then just bend it back into place afterward.

Btw the company doesn't matter a whole lot other than for warrenty, trade-up, etc. The regular 295 MSI card will be the same as the BFG/XFX/EVGA.
