Here is another remark from the same poster that deserves a LOL:
Apart from his wild fanboism, this guy doesn't seem to understand that all GDDR5 provides is extra memory bandwidth - it doesn't matter jack if the GPU core cannot use them.
Someone ought to slap some sense into this guy - perhaps I would reply to his next comment, maybe when AT publishes the GT300 vs RV800 article.
Why don't you address the person's comments over at the main AT site...instead of posting a callout thread about it here. Alternatively, feel free to create a new thread to discuss the technical aspect, but without the callout.
