The Grinch wins SC

not sure what this has to do with Obama... but this isn't terribly surprising.

other than, like, last week, Romney has always been polling at 2-3 in South Carolina.

I still don't see how Santorum or Gingrich compete in Florida or other expensive-market states, and as demonstrated a scant 4 years ago, a drawn-out primary isn't necessarily a death-blow to a campaign.

Come this time next year, the right-wingers are going to say CNN fixed the general election for Obama by asking Gingrich the debate question that let him grandstand his way to the Republican nomination 🙂

This is the best they can do. After all, they are going up against a very popular and re electable successful president. If they are "values" orientated voters, no one says values more than the Obama's.
I don't think Obama even has a Tiffany's account? 😀
Newt? What - a - joke! But, they all are jokes...
Let the wagers begin 😀 😀 😀

Maybe at least one political convention will be worth paying attention to this year. I believe a first in my lifetime.

god bless you newt gingrich, you have brought (with a little help from herman cain) much lulz to an otherwise boring nomination process.

Is this the same Mr Gingrich who married three times and is known to have cheated on two of his wifes while they were sick? Is this the Mr Gingrich who was censored by his own party because of ethics issues? Is this the person who wants to put adults out of work and give their jobs to children?

What does this primary say about the SC GOP?

Newt has always been and always will be his own worst enemy. More baggage than a Samsonite luggage salesman. Don't worry, he'll fall down again soon enough.

And yet the born-again and evangelical christians voted for him overwhelmingly. It makes no sense; they voted for the most 'immoral' candidate based on their belief system.

Voting data here

The commercials Grinch has been running here, have been absolutely brutal to Romney. They don't call him pro-choice, they sling pro-abortion.

With 60 % of the vote in, It looks like Newt is leading Romney with a 40% to 26% percentage.

Maybe what hurt Romney was his incredible plastic man status for being on all sides of every issue for the past 10 years.

But I suspect other states will look closer at Newt, especially as all his closet skeletons explode with all the force of Newtron bomb. Covering the whole USA with 10 feet of Newt fall out ass holery.

No one ever lost money betting against the stupdity of the people of South Carolina.

I believe that is one of the main things that hurt him.
