Unless you somehow manage not to do anything ever again, you will mess up, somehow, somewhere. I promise.

That's oh so true :( &

These were mistakes that ended up having a positive overall impact. This is as opposed to mistakes like the Treaty of Versailles, which led to WWII.

While that was definitely a royal F up, an even greater mistake might have been appeasing Hitler instead of planting firm in '38. Apparently he was going to stop his expansionism if he didn't get what he wanted from the Brits....

I disagree. Germany still would have had the Holocaust.

So you think they would have acted the same way if their country hadn't been completely raped and screwed by the Treaty of Versailles?

versailles treaty wasn't any different from any treaty forced on the losers by the victors since the beginning of time.

heres a mistake: Publius Quinctilius Varus losing 20,000 men in the black forest in one day.

Vulcanized Rubber, Penicillen, Potato Chips, Donuts, and Silly Putty were also accidental inventions.

No. Hilter's hold on power was tenuous at best. Any sort of defiance by the Allies would have almost immediately resulted in a military coup which would have overthrown Hitler. Most likely there would have been another war later on, but not on the scale of WW2.

Agreed. He fed them what they wanted to hear and had he been checked by a timid Europe WWII wouldn't have occurred. I do not know if another war in a smaller scale would have erupted as you suggested but I don't think they would have had the means to begin one given the aforementioned circumstances of forcing Germany to adhere to the Versaille Treaty stipulations.
