Gather 'round children
And listen to my tale
Of the Winter of Fourteen
And tears by the pail.

Your ancestors were girlie men
It can not be denied
With snow in their girlie parts
All through March they cried.

They whined about the cold
They whined about the ice
The shreaking of their anguish,
A million squeaking mice.

Alas these trembling flowers
When they weary of this meat
Will spend the days of Summer
Bitching about the heat.

Feel free to add new verses.

Eying their frigid wives thinking,
"Maybe she'll put off some heat."
But they're greeted with the usual glare
And they beat a hasty retreat.

They go to the kennel.
Maybe they can snuggle with the pooch.
Much to their dismay
The cat's already there giving the dog a smooch.

People from Arizona that aren't in Flagstaff aren't allowed to mock others about the winter.

Snowiest, coldest winter on record here. Snowblow me.

,... bunch of pansies.

Not just folks outside of NYC,.. but, people in NYC as well. On days where it snowed and there was public transport (which was every day, on snow days), I still came to work. Others where in their homes, "working" remotely.

Feh.

Snow in the driveways
Right up to their boys
They couldn't run the blower
It made too much noise.

They tried to use a shovel
But couldn't lift the snow
Sixteen hours behind a mouse
Does not muscles grow.

So they slunk back into the house
Tail between their legs
And spent the Winter surfing porn
Eleventy billion megs.

They whiled away their days
Writing mail addressed to Santa
The letters never made it past
The burning of Atlanta.

They drove their cars in glory
The road it was their bitch
To make their dates with destiny
A cellphone and a ditch.

Fahrenheit or Celsius
It mattered not at times
The boldest, ballsiest of the bunch
Shrank to no more than dimes.

...And as they cry in vain
Lamenting the snow, cold and rain
Their neighbors out West are doing just fine
Sipping their wine while enjoying the sunshine
Living it up in their utopia
A land they call California

We wish we could feel others' pain
But there's hardly even any rain

Great weather is not rare
It's something we enjoy year round
Even in the lesser known town of Bel Air
Doesn't that make you want to think ”Westward bound!”?

Snowplows scrape and clean the streets
White stuff piled up so high, mountains form in every town
Cars glistening with ice, frozen solid, sliding down hills
People plowing, pushing and breaking up snow, trying to find a place to put it
Walking around town becomes an olympic balancing event
Snow melts and forms monster pot holes making normal driving impossible
Winter 2014, you been an evil bitch, good riddance

I don't really see what's so special about this winter, everyone keeps talking like it's a bad winter and is out of the ordinary. It's a winter like any other. People sometimes forget that this happens every year. It gets cold, and it snows. :p Though I find here we barely have any snow, maybe 2 feet at most and it has not snowed in months. Well other than a few inches here and there but I don't really count that, it could easily be snow that got moved by the wind.

So here we go lads, lets rhyme
instead of fapping and wasting time
let us sit, lamenting potholes and ruts
not lack of cocaine, and sluts

We don't usually have as many subzero days here as we have had this winter. And we've had a lot more snow this year than we've had in a long time. Typically it doesn't snow until around end of November at the earliest, but this year it snowed end of October and then the cold just stuck around ever since except for a few of the typical thaw days that we get each year.

Thankfully spring isn't that far away now...

North Idaho, represent!
We’re used to the snow, we don’t get bent
But my truck took a crap on me last week
I had to walk to work through the snow knee deep
What doesn’t kill us will only make us stronger
But I’m hoping this winter doesn’t last much longer

Sixteen degrees below
Techs could not endure
Nothing but a keyboard
A can of frozen Ensure.
