Part of the problem in Minnesota though is that Trump has campaigned to bring mining back to the iron range in northern Minnesota (environment and worker's health be damned), much like he promised to bring jobs back to the rust belt in 2016.
He gonna make more iron ore? As mining goes, iron mining is fairly benign in terms of miner health and environmental damage. The Mesabi Range is mostly played out and what ore is left costs a lot more to process than direct shipping Australian ore. It is cheaper to mine iron in Australia and ship it to mills in the US than it is to mine and prep Minnesota ore and ship it to US mills. That’s with labor costs in Australia being higher than in the US .

Edit: There are still multiple mines operating in northern Minnesota so I don’t know what Trump is going on about. Is he planning on rolling back automation?

Think I already did?

I know nobody likes the both sides take...but it's better than shaming people for voting or thinking differently about complex issues...
There is the truth about Trump and the GOP, and then there is thinking differently, although it doesn't really qualify as thinking.

Plenty of blame and demonization from both sides.

I mean, just look at some of the replies in this thread.
Yea, the old "both sides argument". Lots of good people in that white supremist rally.
However things are now, the hatred and division was started and stoked by Trump.

Stopped at a kwik trip store today in rural Wisconsin on our drive. In the lot was a big, ugly, pos 4x4 truck with a Trump flag in the back that said "FUCK YOUR FEELINGS" on it. I'm talking 4 x 6 foot, mounted in the bed of the truck. The owner was a kid, maybe 18, and he had a couple buddies that were probably the same age. Poor kid, his father must be a piece of work. Starting to see a lot more Biden support though, and prominently displayed. I think Dems don't put up as many yard signs, but are getting irritated by the moronic Trump signs. I see that as a good sign, people are fed up enough to risk some pos Trump supporter wrecking their sign to show who they support.

My area, (central FL) started out with mostly trump signs but now I see Biden popping up everywhere, also one large
"don't tread on me"flag bolted to a house 2 down from me, I assume it's a guns rights idiot, one home made sign said
"vote the bible" along with a convincing home made civil war cannon replica. I'll have to take some pics and post, FL never disappoints in the weird as fuck dept, we all know this.

Lots of examples of this out there. They even have T-shirts.

If this person lived near me I'd have to buy him a beer or something, this is beyond epic.
