I assume I know the answer, but can anyone tell me which card THEY'D take betwix the two below (given the prices listed below the links)?!?! Also, please elaborate on "why" if you would be so kind

There is absolutely no reason in the world to get the XT over the GT.

I would get the XT as i have the PCI-E version, and the second one will be in tomorrow. And it is a great card, i can run F.E.A.R. on maximum graphics, no lag, on a 19" WS, and at 1440X900.
