This is a good movie with academy award nominated performances by Robert Duvall and Michael O'Keefe. Based on a book by Pat Conroy. Made in 1979. Excellent performance by Blythe Danner, Gwyneth Paltrow's real-life Mom.

At this price it isn't much more than the cost of a rental.

it is a pretty good movie.... I watched in high school when I didn't have time to finish the book 😱

This is an excellent movie! Duvall's performance is classic, and the other actors are very good as well. I highly recommend it if you haven't seen it before.
 
Thanks, I haven't seen this in a long time, and I looked around and found some other movies I have been looking for......CHEAP!
