What questions are you posing exactly? You're just talking out of your *ss. But go ahead and pose them and when I wake up (as I'm going to bed atm) I'll humour you and respond.
 
No need to. I don't need to prove anything to you. Anyone else with the capability of reading this thread knows what I asked, and you failed to answer, and that there is far more evidence that points to PlexTools XL being an optional supplemental upgrade and not a required replacement.
 
Meh, Plextor's been overrated since they discontinued development of the SCSI line. They've been sell IDE tech at SCSI prices. No thank you.

I've been happy w/ Lite-On (until recently), NEC (best value/performance), and OptoRite (HD-Burn). Half the price of Plextor, same kind of performance and quality. I can use the money I saved to buy media.
