Circular saw will go way better for 2x4s. Way faster. Sawzalls are kinda slow. They are nice for going through mixed material like wood with nails, but if you are cutting wood that you know does not have nails the circular saw is faster.

That sounds like a good idea, but it's not really practical. When you're slicing bread on a saw horse and the chainsaw gets away from you a little it's not a problem. Take a chunk out of a real horse and the ASPCA crawls up your ass.


Not to mention where said horses rear hoof is liable to end up! :p
