I heard on the news earlier today that Gray Davis owns a condo in West Hollywood and that he voted at a real estate office in that city. I realize it's probably nothing but... West Hollywood?

That's not the point. The point is that West Hollywood is like San Francisco's Castro district; drive through there some evening and all you will see are gay people. The entire city is well known for its homosexual character.
