Hey, got Grand Theft Auto: Vice City tonight and put about three hours into it already. All I can say is the missions are better (more refined), the bikes make for a fun new way to get around, and the whole thing looks and feels better. Be back later with more input...but it's fun. Had about 100 people waiting in line to get it...insane.....

Umm...were 400 million PS2s even sold? Maybe a million or so preorders, that would be incredible..

The official webpage shows it going to PC. Doesn't say when though.

Humm it said PC somewhere on there a few days ago. I'm 99% sure it'll be on PC. That's what all the news sites say. Looks like 4-6 months.

I remember reading somewhere that Sony said they do not consider PC as a console (obviously) and that PC games being on a different market level from console games that they would come out with a PC version of GTA:Vice city, and that would not go against the exclusive agreement between rockstar and SONY till 2004.

Although I predit that it'd take like a year or so for them to come up with that.

holy crap. According to this review at Gamespot, you can buy buildings, fininsh that buildings missions, then the building begins to earn you money.

And Jenna jameson does the voice for one of the characters

and there is a minigun!

My copy is coming today, it's in the local ups hub now. I'll probably have it when I come home from lunch. Gonna take a lot of prodding to get me to go back to work though

ahh...this is sweet (12% done in a night and this morning). The motorcycles are way too much fun, there are a ton more boats, and the whole game runs cleaner. It almost feels a little smaller though...

Yeah I thought it felt smaller too, but maybe that's just cause only half the map is open and most of the early missions keep you close to home. Apparently its as big or bigger then GTA3
