The good, the bad and the braggarts: WHO HAS THE HIGHEST 3DMARK SCORE?

Those of you who're thinking of whining about 3DMark not counting for much in the real world can stuff it. It's a fun little standard benchmark, nothing less nothing more.

That said, I've GOT to have a higher 3DMark 2001 SE score than 98% of you. I'd like to know what other people have in their rigs that's even faster. So bring out the big guns, boys and girls! Let's see what you've got!

I knock 3DMark because it is a poor benchmark, and people get waaay to bent out of shape if they have a low score. Why don't people boast about their game scores, tahts what matters.

Cripes, it's amazing how much difference the video card alone makes! And why's your CPU unidentified to 3DMark?

Yes, I'm very impressed with the 9700. No idea why the CPU would be unidentified. I can't seem to log in now to see what it said. It's an Athlon 2600+ 333MHz bus, not overclocked at all. RAM is running synchronously @ 333MHz as well. Nothing OC'd at all, so I have no idea.

To all of you that knock MadOnion, get a life. It's there to stress your card and show it off, nothing more. It means nothing to real world game benchmarks. In fact, my UT2003 benchmarks are really quite meager, but I'm running at the highest quality settings I can get this card to do at 1280x1024 and I'm happy. It's fast enough fps for me. It's about the opposite of what 3DMark2001 would lead you to believe though, as it bypasses the quality settings. MadOnion really does make the most beautiful benchmarks I've seen. Customers love to oooh and aaah over a computer in the lab running it...

BTW, have you seen the 3DMark2003 trailer? Looks very intriguing!
