Those guns that Nicky Cage rocks in the movie are fvcking sweet. They are automatic firing pistols, I believe they are a limited edition but I was trying to find out the price/availability of them. Would be a very sweet collector's item...

IIRC they were standard 1911s, gold plated with pearl grips. It wouldn't be hard (though it would be expensive and silly IMO) to re-create them.

Nah, I know I can get that type of make (automatic firing pistol), but I am looking for the specific limited edition guns that were used in the movie. There are more than the two just made for the movie, so I'm trying to see if anyone who owns them (A store or person) is selling a pair or even one of them.

Aren't the automatic pistols at the end of the movie before the final chase, outside the church? I remember bad Archer or good Troy had them, but it wasn't the gold ones. The website says they were Berreta 92 or Glock 19.

Face/Off

I don't remember the gold guns being automatic, the scene I'm thinking of is when bad Troy jumps out of the Learjet firing at the cops.

Yup. And for what you are looking for...it would be cheaper to go this route rather than the authentic stuff.

They are 1911's - they're not "limited edition", I'll bet they were specifically made for the movie and then given to Cage or Woo when production finished.

To re-create that gun, you need two blank 1911's to do your work on. That includes the ambi safety's and skeletion hammers on both guns, getting the accents to match, getting the what looks like either ebony or something inlayed with the dragon symbols, and then having each gun gold plated (at least $500 per) or treated with a titanium nitride process.

Expect to spend at least $4k to have something built.

I reccomend you send the picture over to Brandon Strayer at SVI and see what he can do for you.
