I am all for a better environment etc, who wouldn't be? However at work we have this new plan called the PSP, personal sustainability project. And everyone is supposed to come up with there own. Well the HR guy's first suggestion was for everyone to turn the water on in the shower to get wet, then turn it off to lather up, then back on to rinse off. Also he handed out all these little plastic badges that talked about it. How much plastic was wasted on those? This is a world-wide company so I'm sure the amount used was mind numbing.

I wonder what he would think he we decided to cut back by not spending as much money on the company through personal purchases, I mean it would be less gas and energy used etc. And first and foremost, one of their biggest business buddies in China, how about having them tighten things up for a start. Oh that's right, that would be inconvinent for them and very costly.

Welcome to fightening reality. If I were you I'd take my badge, say that was a great idea and just keep showering how I always have.

Number one on my PSP, call in to work more for the environment! It would be less gas and emissions released!

Tell them you'll quit coming to the office, thereby saving fuel on daily commuting and freeing up office space that can be now used for an indoor garden.

Either that or tell them you'll limit your showers to once a week.
