Been strapped in and ready for over a decade. No danger from sea level rise here and I expect New England to morph into a tropical paradise. Ready for the show.

The part that worries me the most is the introduction of dangerous things moving up our way, like giant hogweed and ticks. Have not ran into any of those myself but as things continue to get warmer it's a matter of time until it gets worse. This summer was brutal hot. We never got a normal day, it was either retarded hot, or cold and raining, no in between.

The whole climate change thing is so politicized that we're basically getting nowhere at solving it either, if there even is anything we can do. We contribute about 2% of the world pollution but bad policies do indirectly contribute to overseas pollution too. We should work towards reducing the amount of air and sea traffic, at very least. Attacking individuals with punitive carbon taxes is not going to help either as we still need to live. Need to work, eat, heat our homes etc. Businesses need to do the same to operate and they pass the cost down to us. Can only reduce so much. Once I upgrade my water heater to a heat pump one and start using the wood stove I will be using less gas but not everyone is in a position to do major upgrades to their home like that.

But you surely have noticed a few hurricanes coming your way. Brace yourself.

Yeah lived through a few, but I've taken out every tree that could fall on my house now, and I live up on a hill so little risk of flooding.
