The GIMP2, anyone uses it?

I use it, but can't figure out why it crashes often when I'm try to do anything with text, or when trying to work with layers, it just close with no explaination.

I use it to resize photos once in a while.

When I work with text, and scroll to a certain text options, it said can't load fonts... and close 😕.
