I for one welcome our giant spider overlords and.... no, fuck that. Nuke them from orbit.

Scary part is that green tile is 1"x1" :^O

FTFY. He was about 3" or so across, easily. We decided he (or she) was a Wolf Spider but that is a highly inexpert opinion. I ejected it from the premises twice. Either it eventually took the hint or it has been more careful since. We've seen a couple of smaller ones (2") we presume are offspring.
