Same for me basically, except 5.1 (headphones sometimes) and two other computers at the house when I'm at home.

Sound = 5.1 or wireless headphones or USB headset

Monitors = Main rig: 3, in rest of house: 11 (mixture)

No of comps = 9

OS = all on XP bar 1

Res = all sorts and changing for different needs

Browser = FF par one with IE

A 5.1 system w/ Catilina

Main rig has a 19" CRT, Family has 19" CRT, Mother's comptuer has a 18" CRT and brothers has a 15", same with my AIM box

Number of comps: 5

OS: XP on all

Res: 1280 x 960

Browsers are all FF

2.1 speakers on both
1 19" CRT monitor at 1280x1024 (voted 12x9) on my computer; 1 17" CRT at 1024x768 on the Dell
Running Windows XP Home on both
2 computers in the residence; everyone else uses a Dell
Firefox on both

- AV-710 > AOS Piccolo > Maxi Moy or Gilmore V2 > Audio-Technica A900 or recabled Senn HD650
- (2) Sony 18" LCD and 20" Cinema Display
- LCDs
- Barton 3200+ and G5 Dual 2.0
- WinXP Pro and Mac OS X
- 1280x960 and 1680by1050
- FF and Safari

I would really love to trade my 4.1 setup for a nicer 2.1 setup. I only bought the 4.1 to play Max Payne (remember that damn baby level????)

Anyways, I voted LCD even though I don't have it yet. I just ordered one today. Running XP, browsing with FF

7.1 non plastic! (needs .75" MDF cabinets to be a real speaker in my book)
1 CRT + 1 LCD on main machine
27 computers in residence. (most in boxes not hooked up)
Server 2K3 + XP
Firefox

7.1

1 x 19" CRT
1 x 76" DLP

oh i thought it was a physical TV, not projector

audio: 5.1, but I'm thinking of investing in a high quality 2.1 set instead. I very rarely use my computer for anything that could truly utilize surround sound (I'd port the 5.1 speakers over to my television, where surround sound would actually be useful).

monitors: 1.5? 😉 I have a 19" lcd and a 15" tv both hooked up to my computer

total computers: technically 5... only 3 are in regular use, though. my desktop, my roommate's desktop, and my laptop. we both have archaic laptops floating around that don't get much use, though.

os: XP Pro on both desktops, and XP Home on my laptop. my old laptop has 98 on it, and my roommate's old laptop is running slackware, It think.

Been a while since I did a poll like that,

I need a new monitor. This 5-yr-old NEC Multisync is bound to crap out soon. no $ for this shyte. 🙂

Speakers: Three pairs of headphones, four two-speaker systems, and one four-speaker system.

Monitors: Four 19" CRTs, one 21" CRT, one 13" CRT, one 15" CRT, and one 19" LCD.

Computers: Five PCs and one Macintosh.

OSs: Five installations of Windows 2000 and one of Mac OS 8.6.

Resolutions: Five on 1600x1200, one on 1280x1024, one on 1024x768, and one on 640x480.

Browsers: Four on Internet Explorer, one on Firefox, and one on Netscape Navigator.
