The gas company came and took off the gas meter from my house!

So I'm working midnight shift this week and didn't know anything until my wife came home from work and tells me when she comes in the door. I had been sleeping of course. So I get pissed but she calls the gas company because she knows I will just go apesh!t on people for things like that. Turns out they took it off the wrong house! LOL! They're putting it back on first thing in the morning. Good thing we only use gas for the heat! Man people gotta pay better attention!

Sure if they're in one of those transponder zones - clone the transponder and track steady but average amount. Write script on a little linux shitbox pc and have it ping the receiver on the reading date. Put a manifold to bridge the house line with the street line and plant a big ass firethorn bush in front so NOBODY would dare peek. Normalized billing for life. 75F thermostat in the winter - laugh at neighbors shivering or paying $500 bills. :laugh:

oh man thats bad. about as bad as the local propane place we use.

we are on whats called "keep filled" where they come out every week or so and make sure we are kept at 80% plus. well last winter i woke up at 1am freezing my ass off. couldnt figure out why it was so cold. i went out and looked at the tank. it was empty! they said they couldnt get out until morning. i bitched a LOT and made them come out asap. finally at 4am they come out and give us 20%


then they tried to put my MIL bill on mine.

we asked them to come out and paint the tank. since it has paint chips falling off it and full of rust. that was 3 months ago. finally we got tired of the BS and finally wanted to change gas places.

well we had to call to find out if part of the line was ours (pressure valve i think) or the gas places. so i called them. They said they would be out to take the tank tommorow. i said fine bring me a check for the 200+ gallons i had. they said no they wont do that. so i asked if i could get the new place to pump it out before they swaped tanks. they said no.
