My brother and his friends seem to have a bunch of free time, so they are building this site: dancingweasels.com (check it the dancing weasel, its interesting) I dont understand what the thing with weasels is, but I find the site amusing.

Anyways, they made a puzzle type game called wikiball which is kinda addictive: wikiball

Tell me how you guys like it, and how high you can score (there is a high score table, so dont try to lie about it, because we will all know!)

Also, if you see any major bugs (that I dont address in the tips below) then please post them, and I will email the thread to my brother.

A couple tips for advanced wikiballers, since I didnt see the rules posted

1) The object is to get balls of one color in a group (called a ring), then they dissapear like in tetris. The thing is, it also counts if you make a ring of one color, with other balls inside...

2) figure out how to use the mouse controls instead of using the arrow keys. Once you get used to it you have analog control over the spinning, instead of just one speed with the arrow keys.

3) use the frame rate control on the left to slow things down at first. This is good for getting the hang of things, but then turn up the speed so you can actually score some points.

4) change the music periodically, or you will go crazy (controls on the right side.) I like fran'ic the best, due to "wikiwikiwiki" chanted periodically.

5) the reset button doesnt seem to work yet, so if you want to start over, speed up the rate and just fill up the circle so you start over soon. Make sure to slow things down before it starts the next game though!

6) the "paws" button does work to pause things, so use this to your advantage.

7) you can use the skip button to start on levels with more colors which helps you score faster, but its harder there, so wait until you get used to the controls.

8) good luck, and let me know if anyone has the skill/patience to beat the high score!

personally I havent been able to beat 80th place, but I have a feeling some of you Anandtechers could dominate the scoreboard. I guess we will see.
