Hey guys. I know the Tbred Bs 1700+ and 2100+ are the king of the overclock right now for the AMDs. WHat do you think of the prospects of overclocking in the future? I know the high end Athlons are not nearly as overclockable as these. So in the future when Athlon XP 3600+ comes in do you think we'll have a good OC with that? What about the Hammers will they be overclock friendly?

Who knows, it might oc like mad or not at all. But we cannot say anything at all before the stuff is released so no point in guessing I'd say. That way noone gets their hopes up and get disappointed.

The forecase for the overclock doesn't look good at all. Soon, FSB will change to 200mhz and we might be able to overclock it to 250.
Now, a cpu might be able to handle that FSB, but not the other parts. They could give us more dividers, beyond 1/5, but then there's the final question if someone will make DDR that can handle 250mhz and beyond.

David L. Poisner at the Folsom will be glad that he's on the top of "most hated people" list by overclockers' communities.
