The future of monitors

Seeing what was posted in "DVI Question" (Video) and "OLEDs vs. LCDs" (Highly Technical Forum), I started wondering where the future of monitors is headed. Will CRTs die? Will LCDs dominate the market, or will they be outdone by OLEDs? Or will a new technology arise that is better than all others? I'd like everyone's opinion on this subject.
