the future of keyboards

It could start out at any price...

I used to be into stylish keyboards and mice...had the original Logitech Mouseman/Keyboard combo...$150...broke down in an year.

Then Logitech MX Duo KB/MX700 Mouse...another $100...keyboard died in two years, the recharging contacts corroded.

Logitech Dinovo KB/MX900 Mouse combo...$250. I got robbed...along with 2001FP monitor, Ipod, Klipsch 2.1 speakers...an Athena 5.1 setup...$300 DVD Player...$1050 worth of DVDs...$400 video camera...250gb external drive...Sennheiser HD600s...all in all, I got raped by about $10k in half an hour of being away. Yahoo!

Five years and $500 of Logitech later...I'm on a Dynex $20 keyboard and mouse. And happy. Coz in fact, functionality is about the same as the Logitechs (all the Microsoft-style Windows functionality buttons are there). Yay!

And what's funny...I personally think the Dynex is as good if not better looking than any of Logitech's keyboards. I was amazed what you can get in terms of "style" for $20.

ya, okay 100$ for an OLED keyoard is not realistic but...i wouldnt pay anything more than that. And maybe, in my wildes dreams there will be a time when oleds are cheap as plastic...ah...dang. but this prototype keyboard is damn sexy 😉 though it probably will never hit the market or only for ridiculous prices.

I've thought about that concept in the past... too bad I didn't patent it, but then someone else probably has a patent on the idea already. 🙁

Looks cool, anyway. 😎
