Because this is this 7th thread tonight on the ad banner.
Everything of value comes with a price, and that for you is an ad banner that doesn't take up very much of your screen.
 
I'm not a subscriber and I've never bitched about anything here (AFA the layout, ads, etc)

Whatever the owners decide to do is fine with me. The amount of EDUCATION and ADVICE I get from ALL the forums here (there's life outside of OT, you know) is invaluable.

As long as I have an account, I'll stay.

Your point is valid, as I use the non-subscriber forum for that reason, but I "pay" for the forums by accepting the ad banners and clicking on them occasionally to help Anand out. If I had extra money I would buy a subscription.

I understand that, but a year subscription is $30.00 US, which is only $2.50 US per month. To me the info I've received here and the money saved makes it worthwhile IMO 🙂
