The future of AGP, your comments

Hey everyone,
Well I'm about to buy a new mobo, though my options are either have AGP Pro, or not... how does the future look, I know that only professional cards(except that asus one) use the AGP Pro, though does it truely offer so much over the stanard AGP Slot? Thanx.

Well it basically supplies more power to the video card and I believe it will eventually support AGP x 8 speeds as well.

If it's more expensive I wouldn't worry about it, but if it's pretty much the same price as a normal motherboard then go for it. Look how long AGP x 4 has been out and there is little/no performance difference to it and to AGP x 1.
